I would not have had my venue if it wasn't for her. We worked together for over a year to put together a memorable and epic party. Somer is literally amazing. We came from Utah and our family came from all over the states. She had everything planned and handled from the tiniest details. I had a completely stress free wedding in the middle of a pandemic because Somer is so amazing. She was professional, kind, so fun, and a friend through all the planning. I was a pretty hands off bride and showed her pictures of weddings I thought were beautiful. She completely blew the photos out of the water all within staying in my budget. She is so creative and talented, she planned my wedding like it was her own with small touches and created the most beautiful weekend. The wedding festivities were the most incredible 4 days of my life because of Vida Bonita and I can’t thank you enough!! If you were to hire her you would not be disappointed. She knows everyone in the area and can orchestrate the most beautiful event.

The best decision we made in our wedding planning was to hire Somer at Vida Bonita Events for her full wedding coordination services, we couldn't have planned our destination wedding without her. She is well organized, keeps track of contracts, and worked well with all of our vendors, keeping everyone in touch and coordinated. Somer is great at identifying what issues were most critical and important to address during our planning process. She has a great list of vendors that she's worked with and trusts to provide top notch service that she can recommend to you. Our guests are still raving about the BEST churros they have ever eaten and the food Don Pedros catered for us. For planning she made a sharable Google spreadsheet that we could both edit to include information on vendors and dates in which money payments were due, a wedding day timeline, information on your wedding party, and so much more. She organized multiple events for us, a taco cart for my fiancee's mothers 70th birthday, a wedding welcome party, the wedding, and a post wedding brunch. She and her assistant arrive early to every event to set up and stay for majority of the time to ensure that everything is running well. Somer helped us create a vision for our wedding and even designed and built us a wall to hang luggage tags on, which served as the seating chart and wedding favors for our guests, she also designed table numbers, a welcome sign, a bride and groom sign for our wedding seats, cocktail signs, and found a great shelf to display photos of loved ones who have passed. Somer kept things moving and on time without telling us, the bride and groom, or anyone in our party to hurry it up. She helped organized transportation for guests, was available to our us and guests via text, what's app, email and the phone. This made it super easy to communicate and plan and organize. She'll be there for you every step and you will not regret for a second that you've asked her to help plan your wedding!!!

My now husband and I were looking for a wedding planner for our wedding that we were trying to plan from home in the states. Somer (vida bonita events) was one of the few we reached out to and the fact that she was super fast with her responses, very easy to get a hold of as well as professional and transparent about services she offers made us feel confident in choosing her ! We first went out to visit and meet Somer a year before our wedding and we were so blown away at how patient and organized she is. Having venue visits and vendor meetings set up for us on top of also being present for a current wedding she was in charge of at the time, you would have never known because she's just THAT amazing at what she does. From the time we first visited Sayulita to a year later for our wedding, the big day was here and it couldn't have been any more perfect. Now,I know everyone says this about their wedding day but seriously, everything we asked of Somer which I know at times seemed a lot she made it happen, from a monogram on the dance floor and not just any dance floor a white dance floor to be specific to having a hanging chandelier and cigar roller she handled it all with grace and the whole look came together beautifully! There would be nothing I would do differently or change about the whole planning process with Vida Bonita! Somer is simply amazing. I had my wedding at Flor de la Playa, October 2018 and she was the easiest and most responsive wedding planner we reached out to. At the beginning I cared about a couple things, good food, plenty of alcohol, and an amazing celebration with friends and family. I had no idea how to pull together colors, furniture, place settings, photographers, churros, burros, etc. Thankfully, Somer was able to take threads of an idea and pull off not only a beautiful and fun wedding, but a welcome party. For only knowing us a few short months, she was able to encompass our laid back vibes and enhance it. She helped us find the best deals on rentals and found places were we didn't have to spend without compromising the experience. Day of the wedding she constantly checked in to make sure I had food and drink, she made sure I was taking time to enjoy the day. I can't recommend her enough. She helped plan a wedding that our loved ones not only enjoyed, but were able to create priceless memories we will cherish for years to come.
A fabulous time had by all!
We had our wedding in San Pancho right before New Years Eve. We were asking a number of our guests to leave their comfort zone (i.e. a resort) to coming to our wedding so that made us a bit anxious. From the first moment I spoke with Somer she made me feel at ease. Somer has great taste and had wonderful ideas (beach venue, floral and photographer recommendations, welcome party caterer, welcome bags, churro stand and mariachi band at the reception, hotel venue for guests etc., ) Somer and her husband Billy were also willing and able to help with last minute requests including renting a drone as well as finding a screen and a projector. Amazing wedding planner!
Somer is EXCELLENT! She was always available when I had any questions, big or small. She met with me multiple times leading up to the wedding, and even was in touch with my Maid of honor to make sure execution was flawless. I never had a moment of worry or doubt with Somer and the whole wedding planning process. She even helped me make decisions on detail when I couldn't make up my mind. I was 200% satisfied with the execution of my wedding and would do it all over again in a second!

We were so fortunate to have Somer work out the details for a dinner we hosted in PV. She asked all the right questions, was great with her followups, thought of all the details, and offered to do way more than we expected. (We did all the planning via email and a couple of phone calls!) When we finally meet Somer, a couple of days before the event, we found her to be personable, super helpful, flexible, a lot of fun, and very professional. Needless to say, the dinner was a complete success! Everyone had a great time and kept mentioning how impressed they were with the arrangements. We can't wait to go back and do this all over again, but only with Somer!
